Moving Day at Baptist Church Planters

By February 24, 2025February 26th, 2025No Comments

We are entering an exciting new chapter of growth and mission expansion.

Through God’s provision and the generous support of our donors, BCP has seen remarkable progress—serving 90 churches today, up from just 27 in 2020, with a vision to increase by another 30% by 2027. As we faithfully steward the resources entrusted to us, we are making strategic decisions to strengthen and extend the reach of the Great Commission.

Strategic Stewardship: A New Chapter for Our Facility

After two years of prayer, planning, and seeking wise counsel, BCP has made the pivotal decision to sell its Royalton Road facility. This decision comes not from financial necessity but as a proactive step to align with our evolving mission strategy.

Originally designed to host large gatherings, the Service Center has become underutilized as our team now works remotely across the country to directly support churches. In December 2024, God provided an opportunity for a local business to purchase the property at fair market value, and the transition was finalized on January 31, 2025.

What This Means for the Mission

Our goals with this move are in full alignment with the mission we’ve been on for 35 years.

  • Expanding Church Planting Efforts: Proceeds from the sale will directly support new church plants, amplifying our impact for the Gospel.
  • Strategic Stewardship: BCP will establish a rented facility in Ohio that more efficiently meets the needs of our growing mission.
  • Long-Term Kingdom Impact: By redirecting assets from a building to mission-driven initiatives, we will multiply resources year after year, fueling the Great Commission well into the future.

“This transition is an opportunity for us to bear ‘more and much fruit’ (John 15), and we have seen God’s hand guiding us every step of the way,” said Jon Jenks, President of Baptist Church Planters.

Rejoice and Pray with Us

This milestone is a testament to the faithfulness of our supporters and God’s perfect provision. As we move forward, we invite our community to join us in prayer—asking for wisdom in the transition process and continued stewardship of the blessings God has entrusted to us.

Together, we are laying the groundwork for future generations to know Christ and His saving grace. May God’s continued favor be upon us all in the years ahead.

Baptist Church Planters exists to help church leaders build healthy disciple-making churches (regardless of where our headquarters is located). If you or your church need support or resources to love God and love others, please reach out to us today. We’d love to help.
