Every three years the entire BCP mission family joins together at Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, IA. The purpose for this gathering is to acquaint the missionaries with each other (many coming in since the last time we met), to encourage each other in the Lord’s Word and work, and to share the blessings of church planting.
This will be the first meeting since we added builders to our family and we will be welcoming the missionaries connected with Carver Baptist Bible College.
Our featured speaker this year is Dr. Kevin Bauder from Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Plymouth, MN. Also speaking is Pastor John Sauser, chairman of the BCP Council and a BCP church planter serving in Williamsburg, IA, along with myself. We are praying that the messages from God’s Word will stir hearts to faithfulness, lift those who are discouraged and increase the passion to give our lives to service.
Many churches and individuals have helped the missionaries with expenses to and from the conference, as well as the cost of room and board. Others have helped the mission with expenses, which lessen the cost to the missionaries. We appreciate all who have helped.
Please pray for us during the time of our Family Camp, July 17-20. This is an important event and week in the life of the Baptist Church Planters’ mission family. If you know of anyone interested in church planting, let them know they are welcome to visit the campus while we are there and learn more about church planting.
