Spring 2025
Since October of 2023, countless sheets of drywall (maybe 500), thousands of hours of service, 9,300+ pieces of carpet, over a hundred meals giving energy, and much more have been poured into the 28,000 sq ft. project of Temple Baptist Church. As we come to the wrap-up of this current jobsite, it is amazing to look back and see God’s provision through the sacrificial giving towards this project of time, money, food and more. Currently the much anticipated elevator is being installed so that those who can’t manage the stairs can now finally have access to all of this church building and further join in fellowship and events.

It’s so wonderful to accomplish and reach the end of a task! Yet again we face the bittersweet of finishing a time with a church body; sadness for us to pull up roots and move on. We have been incredibly surrounded by prayer throughout our ministry, and all the more so through our time here in Lincoln, NE. There has been much up and downs of plans being made, anticipated, then changed beyond our control. But through this we are getting to learn firsthand how sovereign our God is, and how compassionate He is toward we who are limited in our comprehension.
We are praying for you, our partners, as you enter a summer full of ministry opportunities! Whether VBS, summer camps, or even just a change of schedule, may God be glorified in your lives and ministries.

Partner and Family update:
Our partners, the Howards, have been on a time of sabbatical since January 18th. We are happy for their time of refreshing and travels. In April Brent’s dad, George Howard, went Home to be with God. On the same day, the Howards welcomed the new life of their grand daughter Naomi, born to Daniel and Ryanne Main. We traveled out to Ohio to mourn and yet rejoice with them. Please keep them in your prayers as they finish out their sabbatical time through June.

Looking ahead: While nothing in this ministry is ever set in stone, we are anticipating next a time at Clear Lake Baptist Church in Clear Lake, IA. This job is set to be a shorter project through the summer, doing mainly outside work. After that, we should begin the next larger project, location details in progress. In July we will head to Toledo, OH for a time of fellowship and learning with our BCP missionary family during Family Camp. We are looking forward to this very much!
Abby’s Corner
Faithful men serving faithfully. A dear friend shared her prayer for my boys: That they would know God and serve Him faithfully all their days. As we work alongside men and women at churches, I get to see them live out their lives faithfully serving God. Many daily volunteers are those that have retired from their jobs. Yet here they are serving daily, working hundreds even thousands of hours on a construction site being faithful with their time. As Jimmy and I seek to be faithful TODAY in serving God, my hope and prayer for our children and this next generation is that they too will faithfully serve God all of their lives.
