Ministry Update
Jimmy and Abby Stevenson
ChurchCare Construction, Quakertown, PA
December 2025
Happy Holidays from the Stevenson family! We have just returned from time with family for Thanksgiving. This ministry location of Quakertown, PA, has us only 6 hours from Jimmy’s family, and we are thankful for this season of being closer. Our family has been working through the cycles of seasonal colds and illness. Prayers as we hear of those of you who are dealing with the same.
We are also so very thankful for you who are taking the time to read this newsletter, to pray for us, and connect. I can’t communicate effectively the impact you have on us, this ministry and the people we get to impact. We wish you, our partners, a very Merry Christmas as we approach the celebration of Christ’s birth.
Partner and Family update:
We received many sweet cards for Leroy’s third birthday this past month. I wanted to share that though it may seem a small thing to send those cards out to us, they meant a lot to receive and open. Though we are far away, you, our partners, remain near to our heart, and these cards are precious to us.

Getting involved with the believers here at Bible Baptist Church has been sweet. The boys enjoy joining Tiny Trekkers on Wednesday and working on memorizing Bible verses. I (Abby) have joined sign language class and thoroughly enjoy watching various church members excited to reach out to their deaf community.
A change of pace is that our trailers are not parked on the construction site. Instead, the Howards are at one property owned by church members, and we are parked at the pastor’s house. We miss being neighbors with the Howards like usual, yet God has provided dear neighbors with pastor and his family. The boys LOVE getting to help take care of the pigs and chickens there, as well as having so much yard and space to play in. What an unexpected blessing that has come with our time here in Quakertown. The boys have especially loved getting 4-wheeler rides, tractor rides and even learning how to canoe!

Our fridge finally bit the dust in September. We are thankful for getting to see God’s provision first through pastor letting us use their extra garage fridge and then the church giving a financial gift to help us get a new one!
Jobsite Update
Things on the jobsite have been going well! We are building a new church building for the body of Bible Baptist Church. We are thankful to have the building fully enclosed as the winter weather is upon us. The parking lot will be poured the first week of December which will be so much nicer than the mud that comes with rainy/snowy days. Check out the list below to see when you could get involved volunteering! Each faithful volunteer from the church is a blessing as they continually pour time and energy into this project.

Abby’s Corner
Getting to walk our littles through the truth of God’s Word, His beautiful plan of salvation and the promises He kept in sending us our Saviour Jesus Christ is a beautiful blessing. Sadly, I have all too easily taken for granted this time of the year. It’s easy to get distracted in the nostalgia of holiday traditions, even in the beauty of Christmas decor. I am thankful for the gift of Paul and Leroy in my life. Their precious little boy perspective is priceless as we teach them the “why” of what we are doing. I challenge you to renew your view of why and what you are celebrating this holiday season.
Prayer
- Please continue to pray for the hearts of our boys. Paul is asking more questions about salvation!
- Pray for the after school club ministry members of this church are involved in. Such a neat opportunity to reach young people for Christ.
- Pray for the hearts of sub-contractors who come on the jobsite. Join us in praying for their salvation.
Praise
- We are thankful for God providing some deer to fill the freezer.
- Thankful for safe travels amidst winter’s weather.
- So very thankful for those teaching the Word of God to our boys and investing in their lives.
