We had a coyote come into the yard and take 2 chickens when we were away on vacation. Somehow, they got out to free range and now we are down to two laying hens. So, off to TSC for 6 new baby chicks to raise with the grandkids’ help. Interestingly, that provided us with an opportunity to meet up with a teacher in Millbury who only needed two more chicks which we purchased all together. She was very grateful (as you have to purchase at least 6) and we made a new contact (originally through the Millbury town Facebook site)!

A Momma bird built a fine nest in my new porch fern.  She then laid an egg a day for 4 days and has been sitting on them since. We carefully water (the fern) and the kids are excited to see what hatches. Learning life lessons here!

We currently have visiting deer, turkey, woodchuck, squirrels, chipmunks, some cows in the field across the street and horses and dogs next door. Thankfully, we never saw the bear roaming our town.  I’m thinking of renaming the farm to Kinney’s wildlife sanctuary.

Our Grandsons, Ian & Jack Kinney, recently told their Pastor (Papa) that they received Jesus as their Savior!  That was an exciting Sunday full of good news!

We had two new visiting couples in church on Sunday. I will be hosting one of the Ladies on my front porch tomorrow for a visit.

Some of our newer young couples have expressed that they have never heard the things that are being taught in our church. On Sunday we honored the children and were taught 6 “Most Important Things” that we must teach our children. It’s neat to see God at work in the lives of people who are all at different places spiritually. God is good to bring us people who need to know Him and about Him.

Some of us attended Clark Hamel’s exceptional violin recital. His SS class showed up to cheer him on!  This class is learning and growing together and in the Lord.

We also attended a family wedding of our nephew, Wyatt. He married a lovely Christian girl on a gorgeous Maine day!

Hopefully this update gives new meaning to Mt. 28:19-20. “As you are going (through life) make disciples…” – even the daily activities of life:)
