Grace!
Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; And his greatness is unsearchable. Psalm 145:3
So much has happened since our last update! Buckle up!
Begining in April, spring had finally sprung making for a beautiful time in Idaho. My work sent me on another trip to Texas. After getting back from Texas our family started preparing for a road trip to Texas for my brother Joseph’s wedding. While in Texas we were able to spend time with Janelle’s brother, Jamin and family.
We loved the opportunity to see God bring my brother Joseph and his wife Rocio together! Our children were able to be a part of the ceremony and loved dressing up for the occasion!
During our road trip to Texas we stopped in Colorado to make a presentation at Mountain Shadows Baptist church. We were grateful to present what God was doing in Preston, Idaho as well as the opportunity to preach on Mother’s day. The people there were such an encouragement to us and we look forward to future visits!
Recently, we had an awesome Q&A event with our youth!
We had a panel of leadership from our church answer questions the youth had written down and turned in. It was encouraging to see how much thought they put into the questions they proposed!
Last but certainly not least, God has provided multiple larger gifts that allowed me to give my notice at work making last Thursday my final day at my full time job. In the meantime, I will continue to work in a part time capacity doing construction work, framing houses, and doing remodels. This will free us up to spend more time focused on raising the additional support we need to get involved full time at Grace Fellowship Church. Thank you so much for your generosity through prayer and financial means! We are around 32% of our long-term financial goal, pray with us that He continues to open doors for us!
Pray!
Pray for opportunities in our community to be a light! Matthew 5:14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.”
Pray for our son Liam: Just this past Tuesday, he went to bed acting his normal, energetic self. We didn’t realize was he coming down with Croup. It caused his temperature to rise to the point he had a seizure. Fortunately, Janelle heard him stirring and grabbed him. For a time he was unresponsive, probably the scariest thing I’ve ever experienced as a father. We immediately called 911 and rushed him to the hospital where he started to settle down. He is feeling much better and we are so thankful. Pray with us for his health as we would like to never have to face that again.
Notice! If you would like the prayer card we recently received, please send us an updated address and let us know how many you would like sent to you.
Update 6/22/24: We wanted to give you a quick update on Liam. We so appreciate your prayers! He is doing much better. His fevers are gone and he is back to his adventurous self.
