God's Supernatural Provision

Tim and Marsha count it a privilege to make disciples or mentoring or being a Titus 2 man or woman. The opportunities God gives us, give us joy to come alongside fellow-followers of Christ and to see their walk with the Lord grow in doing the same with others. Hebrews 6:10 For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for his name in serving the saints, as you still do.” Doing the work of the ministry involves each of us, prayer partners, financial partners each doing their best to “one another” each other in obedience to the Lord’s command of loving your neighbor as yourself. We are blessed to have faithful partners that ‘see that we lack nothing.’ Thank you to those who have chosen to continue to partner with us financially. Paul wrote in Titus 3:13 “Do your best to speed Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their way; see that they lack nothing.

This semi- retirement adventure had us visiting the ER more than we ever needed to in all the years of marriage. On March 9th we were in the ER again and finally on the 12th Tim had his gallbladder removed. Then again on the 21st we were back in the ER where they admitted him to the PCU (just a step down from ICU). He was once again having shortness of breath, low oxygen levels and increased heart rate! It was discovered that Tim had contracted ‘septic pneumonia’. They quickly gave him a regimen of antibiotics which worked. The result of that stay was about 6 days in bed with very little activity. He currently is going through physical therapy twice a week. He also has experienced weight loss. When you look at Tim now he looks a bit different.

A few days after returning from the hospital Tim got a call from our BCP president letting him know that Tim was released for 60 days so that he could properly recover from all that had been transpiring with his health. This means that for the last few weeks, Tim has been focusing on gaining strength and endurance. His 15hrs of work with BCP related ministry have been put on hold for another couple weeks. Tim has gained back about 10 lbs of the 30 lbs he lost during this ordeal. Please continue to pray and ask the Great Physician for wisdom and strength for the journey ahead.

We are trusting and praying that this trend of ER visits will come to an end! Thank you for praying as you learned of these situations.  Physical therapy has been helping Tim to regain strength and stamina.

Praise/Prayer Requests

  • Please pray for Esther and their family as the two older girls adjust to a new baby sister.
  • Please pray for Tim that he will continue to gain weight and strength.
  • Praise the Lord with us for the good progress Tim has made in recovering from gall-bladder surgery and that infection that followed.
  • Praise the Lord with us as Amelia Wren arrived safely along with mom Esther, that she was able to deliver her with no complications.
