Happy Anniversary

Becky & Evan!!!

Hebrews 13:5 says: “Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” This reminder from God’s word has helped us with the changes we continue to adjust to, as we had our own ideas of a semi-retirement plan. Tim’s health struggles has given us cause to rethink what God desires for us to be doing in our service for Him.  This verse reinforces the fact that God provides, even in the changes to a retirement income. In this long recovery process The Lord used 1 Timothy 6:6 “But godliness with contentment is great gain,…” which prompted Tim to consider  his trial and his level of contentment. Our Great God is with Tim and his family who is seeking to care for him in these days of helping to restore his strength.

In Job 12:13, Job replied  “With God are wisdom and might; he has counsel and understanding.” In Job’s journey The Word of God states in 42:7 that the two friends had not spoken of Yahweh what is right, as His servant Job had. Our prayer is that we would speak rightly of Our Lord no matter our circumstances or limitations.  Paul helps us realize that this is possible in Romans 12:2 “And do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, so that you may approve what is the good and well-pleasing and perfect will of God.” Even in these days when it is hard to breathe or walk due to water retention, or sleep, etc… for Tim. We exalt Our Almighty Lord for His steadfast love, grace and mercy for each moment of each day! Thank you for being our prayer partners during this time. We know that our Good Shepherd will guide us safely through!!!

We ask that God would grant us wisdom as we reconsider what God has for us at this time.

Schedule

• August 29th
  We should be in Wisconsin Rapids, WI for the installation service of Pastor J Fischer. He became the Sr Pastor at Calvary Baptist beginning of July. Tim has been asked to give a “Charge to the Candidate”.

Prayer/Praise

• We praise God for giving Evan & Becky Briggs 11 yrs of marriage – Happy Anniversary today!!!!
• Pray for Tim & Marsha to make wise decisions moving forward in their walk with Christ!
