Dear Family and Friends,

These past few months have been busy with visitors and many ministry opportunities. A couple from Faith Baptist Bible College stopped in connected with our church and especially made a connection with our Filipino members. A large group of adults and young people went out to a Filipino fast-food restaurant called Jollibee.

We also had BCP missionary builders Brent and Michelle Howard and their son visit us for about 10 days. They are visiting missionaries and sights in the West. They were a great help and painted, repaired and ministered in many ways. They were a huge blessing, and they replaced a door at our house that was literally falling off the hinges.

We also were able to spend some time with a baseball player from Cuba/Dominican Republic who spent time with our family. He is a new believer and needs prayer for spiritual growth and commitment. Over Spring Training, we also had a pastor/missionary from Dominican Republic visit with whom we visited last year. His church was meeting in a movie theater and now is looking to purchase a house. His grandparents were led to the Lord through Baptist Mid-Missions missionaries.

Men’s and women’s Bible studies have been progressing well. We also have a prayer group that meets, and we started a group who meet people in the parks and start spiritual conversations. The local Good News Bible Club has grown from 4 kids to 9 children. Wayne has been busy investing in some young men and helping some recent attendees who have been only able to attend Sunday Bible class. Recently one of them wanted to follow Jesus and was able to get baptized.  It has also been busy with multiple health issues and surgeries for the church family.
