For more than three decades, Baptist Church Planters has witnessed the faithfulness of God as churches have been planted, pastors equipped, and disciples made. What began as a vision to see the gospel take root across communities has now grown into a movement that has touched countless lives. Each story of transformation is a reminder that when God’s people commit themselves to His mission, He does abundantly more than we could ask or imagine.
As the psalmist declares, “Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations” (Psalm 90:1). We rejoice that the Lord has sustained this ministry, and we pause to give thanks for what He has already done.
But as that same psalm reminds us, “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom” (Psalm 90:12). Our calling is not only to remember but also to prepare. What will the next 35 years hold?
That question has led us to launch the NEXT 35 campaign.
This is more than a financial initiative. It is a call to prayer, partnership, and future-focused obedience. Our mission remains the same: to build healthy, disciple-making churches. But the needs before us are greater than ever, and we want to rise to meet them through God’s help and your faithful partnership.
Where God is Leading
Through NEXT 35, we are trusting God to provide $900,000 over the next three years—resources that will allow us to move forward in three key areas:
1. Multiplication
We move at the speed of talent, resources, and relationships. Already, more than 90 churches have partnered with us in leadership development, revitalization, and church care. Yet, even as you read this, new churches are asking for help—help we cannot provide without more workers. With NEXT 35, we aim to bring on four new missionaries to join our teams, so that we can strengthen existing churches and plant the next generation of gospel outposts.
2. Generosity That Incites
Just as the church at Philippi partnered with Paul in the advance of the gospel, we long to see generosity multiplied in the local church today. Imagine groups of churches pooling resources to plant new works, with BCP serving as a catalyst and partner. NEXT 35 is about building these gospel-minded partnerships so that giving is not just financial—it’s generational.
3. A Hub for Spiritual Growth and Maturity
One of the greatest joys of BCP has been walking alongside pastors and leaders through the Leadership Journey and other discipleship resources. With NEXT 35, we will expand this work: writing and refining modules, resourcing churches with practical tools, and providing prayer support as we walk together toward maturity in Christ. We pray for you, as you pray for us, and together we trust God to grow His church.
A Call to Partnership
We rejoice to report that already $225,000 has been committed by staff, missionaries, and faithful partners. We look forward to seeing how God and His people provide as we continue into the future.
Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 3:6–7, “I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.” That truth keeps us humble, dependent, and expectant.
We invite you to join us in prayer. Pray that God would raise up laborers for the harvest. Pray for churches in need of strengthening. Pray for the Spirit’s power to move through new church plants.
