When God's People Pray and God Shows Himself
We asked you to pray for some VERY SPECIFIC requests. And you clearly DID because here is how God has answered.
Fall Prayer Requests
Please pray with us for continued church growth:
- Continued Church Growth:
- Praise God for the salvation of Eliezer. He was invited to church outside the grocery store by Safari. He has been attending faithfully ever since. Jacob (who led Zach to the Lord) and Zach had the privilege of leading him to the LORD last Friday.
- A total of twelve new individuals or families have been visiting Crossroads since this summer. Pray that those who are unsaved will know Christ and that those who are saved will take the next step of church membership.
- At the beginning of 2025, we challenged our people to give sacrificially in order to meet our budget and fund the ministries that God had laid on our hearts. Because of the sacrificial giving of God’s people, we have exceeded the entire year’s budget need in the first ten months of the year.
Please pray with us for our men’s ministries:
- Tim worked with the CARBC and BCP on a Fall Leadership Journey Retreat in conjunction with our Northern California Bible conference
- Crossroads men joined men from four other churches at the retreat at Wolf Mountain, led by BCP President Jon Jenks.
- We also attended the Fall Bible Conference of the CARBC and participated in two ordination councils.
- President Jenks spoke on “Turning Fortresses into Staging Grounds.”
- Our men returned with a renewed passion to disciple others.
- Zach and Samantha Miller announced to the church last Sunday that they believe that God is calling Zach to be a Pastor. They ask for prayer as they seek the next steps.
Please pray with us for our ladies ministries:
- A group of four ladies just finished the intensive GROVE Bible Study with Ginny Sebok from BCP and are working with the five leadership journey men to plan the launch of additional discipleship programs in January.
- One of our ladies is leading Bible studies in secret with women in the local Hindu community. Two other Christian Indian families have joined the efforts to reach that community with the gospel, including:
- A Nativity Parade through the Neighborhood
- Christmas Caroling in homes, Indian Style
- Susan spoke at the Central California Ladies Retreat in October
- It was a refreshing time with ladies from five churches: Building Community, Memorizing Scripture, Digging Deep into God’s Word, and Looking to Jesus
