Fran Cupples – Fullerton, NE

At  Whispering Cedars Baptist Camp lived director and widower Roy Cupples. During a conference Roy noticed Fran at the piano, invited her out for lunch, and began a relationship leading to marriage and ministry together. They continued at the camp until 2003 when they decided to focus on one ministry—Victory Baptist Church in Fullerton, NE. They ministered to the church family and also served on the community Chamber of Commerce. They began praying about a church plant in the neighboring town of Genoa and in 2012 the first service at Grace Baptist was held. In March 2014 the Lord called Roy home, and Fran says that time since then has “seemed quick and slow at the same time.” The Lord has blessed and sustained her. Fran now serves as Associate Church Planter and ministers at both Victory and Grace alongside Missionary Pastor Pete and Mary Lou Jenks. At Victory Baptist, Fran enjoys directing the JOY Club and leading a weekly ladies’ Bible study. For both churches, she prepares the bulletins, calendars and prayer sheets as well as the PowerPoint and music for the services. She plays piano for the churches, which gives her much joy. Fran also serves as the secretary for the Chamber and directs the Senior Saints’ Camp week at Whispering Cedars. Fran’s full name is Frances Kay, and it means “free” and “rejoicing.” And that is exactly who she is!
