Praises
- Safety in travel to BCP in Ohio (some through a snowstorm) and to Alyssa’s in New York.
- Productive work day at church getting us all ready for Easter.
- Good visit with Tim and Marsha Weeks with BCP. They were able to stay in our church ministry apartment and visit for a while. Thank you both for your encouragement and ministry.
- We hosted a memorial for Gloria, the mother of church newcomer Deb. Gloria had a wonderful Christian testimony in our community. Deb and Ed are new (4 months) to the church and Deb’s mom had been in a nursing facility for a number of years. The gospel was clear and ministered to around 90 people. Thank you to our church family for their love and care expressed through serving at the memorial.
- We voted to progress on our new church sign. It’s in desperate need of repairs.
- Our Filipino friends continue to attend. They are a delight and really enjoy our small group prayer night as well. It’s neat to see how God works. They (a couple and a single girl) came over here for nursing training at separate times, landed in Millbury, and are all born-again believers, encouraging each other and looking for a church.
- Kevin, whom Roy led to the Lord last year, has been bringing his friend James to church. A couple of Prayer Meetings ago, James received Christ on their ride back home! We look forward to confirming and growing James in his faith.
- We had 52 in church recently. It’s been hard getting everyone there at once!
- Our Good Friday service focused on the death of Christ and was an outreach for friends and family who needed salvation.
- Sunday services: sunrise, breakfast, worship = all to honor our Lord.
Prayers
- Response to the weekend services.
- That the new families invited will feel welcome and God will work in their hearts.
