Ministry Update

Roy and Karen Kinney

Pinecrest Baptist Church, Millbury, MA

March 2024

Hello from Massachusetts

God continues to show us His love and care…
-We received “We Love You” gifts from two of our supporting churches! Wow, it’s nice to be loved and supported and encouraged in such a generous way. You know who you are and we thank you!
-Terry N hosted a church attic clean out day. The 3 of us tossed, organized, and cashed in antique lighting items that were left behind. We got a good work out and the $60 went into the church offering. Win, win!
-Ken W helped some of our church kids put together race cars for the derby over at Pilgrim Baptist. The kids had fun with their Co-Op friends and Declan placed 3rd.
-Mary Jane’s blood work is back to normal and she is cleared for knee replacement surgery once again!
-We’ve enjoyed a couple of outings out to lunch after church. Those who live alone really like it and it’s a good way to show love and care.
-Another outing was to see a college baseball game of one of the young men who has been visiting our church.
-We hosted the Deacons & Wives & Families with a meal and ministry update on where God has brought us from to where we are now as a church plant. Pretty amazing when you look at the entire picture of God’s provision.
-On Sunday a dad with his 3 teenage daughters came to visit. His wife couldn’t make it. They were just checking our church out for now. They heard about us from someone connected with our church. Both parties have home churches, but are concerned about where things are headed in them. Yes, people are looking for conservative, Bible Preaching churches these days.
-We made it through the time change on Sunday. Our automated chicken coop door was confused and some of our people arrived late for services AND we were all tired, but we made it:)
-Roy is the chairman for BCP ChurchCare Meetings and attended them online on Tuesday. We missed visiting family on the way to Ohio and being in house with our mission, but it was good to save on all the travel.
-Our Alyssa turns 30 tomorrow and Kurt & Kyle Hansen turn 34. Family birthdays are a celebration of God’s goodness to us as a family.
PRAY for us…a terrible stomach virus is going around.  One family member already needed ER care.

Thankful for God’s love and care,

The Kinneys (Karen for the Crew)
