November 2023

Hello, Ministry Partners!

Happy Thanksgiving! We are so grateful for each and every one of our partnering churches, families, and individuals! Thank you all for your support of love, care, prayers, and meeting our needs financially. Paul writes to the Thessalonian church, “We give thanks to God always for all of you, constantly mentioning you in our prayers, remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.” We love being in full-time ministry and for being first-hand witnesses of the Lord’s work in our midst. This newsletter will be reserved for a number of our thanksgivings!

  • We are grateful for another church family partnering with us! Cornerstone Baptist Church in Ames, NY voted to partner with us in ministry. Praise the Lord!
  • We are grateful for two new members being voted in at CCBC. Praise the Lord for growing His church!
  • We are grateful that London had a wonderful 12th birthday party with her friends.
  • We are grateful for the legacy of faithfulness that Steve’s grandfather, Calvin “Poppy” Wynn, leaves behind (our son, Calvin, is named after him). He went to be with our Lord on October 26. The funeral was at West Smyrna Baptist Church. Steve was able to share some words of remembrance during the service. We are so grateful for everyone who sent us encouraging notes and prayed for the family.
  • We are grateful that London and Calvin, along with our youth group, had fun celebrating Halloween.
  • We are grateful that the renovation construction is complete at Constantia Center Baptist Church! We spent our first worship service in the new auditorium on Sunday, November 19. You can view the service on the church’s Facebook page: facebook.com/ConstantiaCenterBaptist
  • We are grateful for 105 people coming to our thanksgiving singspiration service at CCBC at 4:00 PM on Sunday, November 19. We rejoice that we had to bring in extra chairs to seat everyone! The evening was filled with singing and times of expressing thanksgivings to the Lord. We had visitors from Faith Baptist Tabernacle (CCBC’s accountability church) along with folks from the community, including former members.

Pictures of our newly renovated space at Constantia Center Baptist Church. We had a final work day on Saturday, November 18 in preparations of the following day’s worship service and singspiration. You can view a short video highlighting the entire renovation process by clicking here: https://youtu.be/Ebg-yg7_PqY

We had a fun time with trick-or-treating this year. The youth group at FBT handed out candy to the boys and girls who participate in our Sunday Night Kids program. London had a great birthday and went shopping with two of her friends. Our family mourned with hope knowing that Poppy’s faith is now sight!

Thank you again to all who have joined us in our ministry by supporting us financially and in prayer. We rejoice that we have reached 56% of our long-term goal! Additionally, with Steve’s role as missionary pastor at Constantia Center Baptist and associate pastor of Faith Baptist, we have received 69% short-term funding. If you are interested in partnering with us, or you know of a church or family who may desire to, you can check out our website for more information or reach out to schedule a meeting with us to learn more.
