We are welcoming in the new year with some winter weather like most of the country. We are thankful for our newly installed wood stove that is helping to defeat the cold. We have had to make some time for updates in the house that we purchased.

In ministry we are gearing back up after the holidays and a quick trip to TX to see our new grandson, number 11.  Both Grace and Victory are participating in a Season of Prayer for six weeks as we seek God’s help in ministry here. The prayer of a righteous person is very powerful in its effect, James 5:16b CSB We are again engaging with individuals to make disciples and train. One of our dear ladies at Grace passed away unexpectedly so we are filling some of the holes that she left.

The goal of seeing a full-time Pastor here at Victory seems a long way away but we know God has a plan and a way in His timing. The initial hope was to see the preparation for a Pastor done in a 2 year period. We are nine months in and have a long way to go. Please pray with us specifically for this need. Victory needs a full time shepherd so pray for wisdom as we prepare.
