Hello from Massachusetts
Here is our July update:
- We enjoyed a time of fellowship at our Great American Cookout on the 2nd. Pics Attached
- VBS was an awesome week of ministry. We are thankful for all 17 of our amazing workers, 33 Children, and 58 to the closing. The topic was SO practical as we studied the Armor of God. Families were very appreciative and we had good interaction. Pics attached
- We had our quarterly business meeting and rejoiced in God’s provision for us as a church.
- On Saturday the 22nd Roy officiated at the Memorial of our friend, Nancy Vincent. We grieve but with hope! We are thankful for her well loved Bible that Roy preached from and the many memories shared about her life lived to serve her Lord and others. Please pray for her husband, Larry. Larry has had many losses in a row (first his health, then his church as he can’t physically Pastor anymore, then his wife, then his Deacon at his church died from a tragic accident, then his home relocation and the need to clean out the parsonage, and life as he knows it in general). - This Wednesday is the Committal service for Gloria Sutherland up in Maine. Pray for the Pentlands as they minister to their family.
- Saturday is the Committal service for Nancy Vincent in NY.
- Jonathan Rudder lost his battle with cancer and gained Heaven on Sunday evening. He had just been told that the cancer was everywhere and was in need of hospice. The Lord graciously took him home. Please pray for his wife and boys. He was comforted and encouraged by the prayers of our church and those of you praying. Thank you.
