Celebration of Life
Janelle’s family after her Dad’s Celebration of Life Service on July 25th.

July Highlights
July was a busy month. We celebrated Stephen’s great Aunt Joan’s 90th birthday in Elkhorn, Iowa. Elkhorn is known for its Danish Windmill and Danish community which is an apart of Stephen’s heritage. Next, we spent some time with Berean Baptist Church in Pella, Iowa sharing with them about our ministry. Pella is another historic town that is rich in Dutch culture with a Windmill and delicious pastries and food. If you are ever in the area it is worth a visit!!
Next, my family and many close friends met in Fullerton, Nebraska for my Dad’s Celebration of Life. Finally, we came back to Idaho, sold our home, and bought land to build on. We were given an opportunity to buy several acres from a close friend and Stephen will be building a home on it this coming year. We are now living the RV life while we build.

Rodeo Days
Our church participates in the Frontier Days Parade which happens each night of the Famous Preston Night Rodeo. This year the Rodeo was on July 30-31 and August 1. Stephen enjoyed connecting with the community along with other church families as they passed out donated ice cream.
Our church also sets up a Lemonade Stand where free lemonade is given out with an opportunity to share with each person about God’s grace!

Skyler is growing daily in his relationship with the Lord. He was baptized this month. He had several unsaved family members and coworkers come to the baptism. Stephen previously worked with all the coworkers and we thrilled to see what God is doing.

One of Skyler’s family members just bought a Bible. We are excited to see God at work in Skyler’s family.

Another one of Stephen’s former co-workers was asking more questions about the Bible and Stephen was able to give him a Bible.
Pray for our Church family that we would continue to grow deep in the Lord.
Pray for Skyler’s family that they would know Christ in a personal way.
Pray for another Elder to join our ministry.
Pray for opportunities in our community to be a light!
