*Join us in praising God for our partnering families and churches.
*Praise God for our five partnering churches – Constantia Center Baptist Church, Faith Baptist Tabernacle, Faith Bible Church, Smyrna Baptist Church, and West Smyrna Baptist Church.
*Praise God for four churches considering partnering with us – Cornerstone Baptist Church in Ames, NY, Grace Baptist Church in Binghamton, NY, Tabernacle Baptist Church in Ithaca, NY, and Glen Baptist Church in Watkins Glen, NY.

Brent and Michele Howard – missionary church builders, currently building at Grace Baptist Church in Canton, OH
The job here at Grace Baptist in Canton, OH, has been progressing well since the end of September.  A group of men took a trip out from New York and provided some extra help pouring the sanctuary floor the last weekend in September.  The guys from Grace Baptist were very dedicated to seeing the building get under roof as quickly as possible. We were able to finish the roof in October and start right on the brick and siding. Most of the brick and siding was finished in November and December with the help of 3 guys who took a trip from Lincoln, Nebraska to spend a cold week in November outside installing the Novabrick!  All of the mechanical contractors are working diligently at roughing in their services so we can insulate soon and turn on some heat in the new building.  We have been working on covering the 500’ of sprinkler pipe that was added to the existing building. Small soffits needed to be built through most of the hallways to conceal the orange pipe feeding water to each room.

I’ve been reminded recently of an illustration given by Steve Little about Moses, Aaron, and Hur. Moses was given specific instructions for how to defeat Amalek in battle; it seemed simple I’m sure at the time. But, after holding the staff of the LORD over his head for a while, he realized he needed help. All of us some point in our lives need help and at other points in life can be a help to someone else in need. Thank you for being our help by prayer, support, and physically helping.

Tim and Marsha Weeks – Church Facilitation Director with a Missionary Care emphasis
Prayer Requests

  1. Please pray for wisdom for the Besteys as they minister in Kansas City, MO. Their daughter needs a kidney transplant, and they appreciate the prayer of others in this time of waiting.
  2. Please continue to pray that Marsha will communicate well during the (26 total) weeks ahead of training the Ladies in the growing in the Grove studies.
  3. Pray for the Solomon’s serving in Fairmont, WV. They both are struggling with health issues and need wisdom for the decisions that need to be made concerning treatment.
  4. Continued prayer for our family. Reuben celebrates a birthday this week. His family while on vacation met up with his cousin Jason Berrus (it had been 17 years since seeing each other) and their children enjoyed meeting second cousins.
  5. Also pray as Tim prepares for teaching in Connection Hour at Kossuth Street Baptist Church.
