Deut. 4:25 – “When you father children and children’s children, and have grown old in the land, if you act corruptly by making a carved image in the form of anything, and by doing what is evil in the sight of the LORD your God, so as to provoke him to anger,”
Judges 2:8-10 – “And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the LORD, died at the age of 110 years. And they buried him within the boundaries of his inheritance… And all that generation also were gathered to their fathers. And there arose another generation after them who did not know the LORD or the work that he had done for Israel.”
Psalm 71:18 – So even to old age and gray hairs, O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim your might to another generation, your power to all those to come.
The OT statements were reverberating in Tim’s mind and heart as he travelled to and from Canton, OH where he spent June 22-24 with our son-in-law Aaron and our two grandsons (Zeb & Asher) to work with our BCP builders. Learning how to square steel doorframes, hang the doors and install the hardware on each door was a great learning experience for the boys to learn from their dad. The 5 hr trip each way gave plenty of time to rehearse lessons learned, not to mention the opportunity to meet other believers and the joy of blessing them on their building project. Aaron had the chance to meet, interact with and develop a friendship with our builders Brent Howard and Jimmy Stevenson! Tim was grateful to fulfill goals for several of his roles; father-in-law, papie, Missionary Care Director and Church Facilitator Director. The several days were tiring but very rewarding.
Praises
1. Praise God for the safety He gave for the Mission trip Tim went on with the boys (as he refers to them) as well as keeping our vehicle up to the task of making trips to Muncie twice a week, this car has served us well for 13 years.
2. We praise God for the safety He gave the Mitchell’s in their travels, helping their son move from UT to GA. While they were away their church family hosted a special ‘Church in the park’ Sunday with unity and the blessing of a well-attended event.
3. We continue to adore the Lord and praise Him for His eternality. “From everlasting to everlasting, He is God!”
4. Gratefully praising the Lord of the harvest, Who has given open doors of opportunity to the church family in Muncie. Tim has been using the book “Sent” by Heather & Ashley Holleman at Wednesday night prayer meeting. Each of us were to make a list of 5 unsaved persons God has burdened us to pray for their salvation. Being intentional has also made us more aware of how God is working.
5. Praise God with us for his healing power. The last week of June and into the first week of July both Tim and Marsha had bouts with summer head colds. We are so thankful for our daughter Hannah who was chauffeur to Muncie so we could be home in our own bed on the 2nd of July. Then Evan and Becky chauffeured us on the 9th. Thank you, Lord, for these provisions.

This past weekend was our first Ladies’ campout retreat similar to the Men’s retreat we have run the last two years. Please pray it was spiritually encouraging to the Ladies and that spiritual fruit will be seen from it.
Also, I made contact with a man who owns some land on the north side of town this week and he indicated he would be willing to sell part of it to us. He is looking into what it would take to subdivide the piece and what price he would want. Please pray that this would go forward if it is part of God’s plan and that we would be able to raise enough money for purchase.

The Mandate
We were blessed to attend the GARBC Conference in Salem, Oregon, in June. We enjoyed sweet fellowship with friends from around the world and powerful teaching from Philip DeCourcy. We were reminded that the strength of our churches is not in numbers but in discipleship and sending people out to spread the gospel. Six months ago, so many of our people had gone out that we were unsure if the ministry in Tracy was viable. But God has been working through discipleship and we are confident that for right now our mandate is to remain in Tracy, sharing the gospel.
As we focus on the ministry in Tracy this summer, we ask for your prayers as we seek to serve this mandate: ‘Finally, be strengthened by the Lord and by His vast strength. Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the tactics of the Devil. ‘ Ephesians 6:10-11
Vacation Bible School was this past week. Prayer that families will be reached for the gospel.
We participated in the July 4th Parade with a float and Otter Pops. We had several families register for VBS from this outreach!
For 15 years, our house was the center of ministry in Tracy. Many baptisms, fellowships, and bible studies happened there. Three years ago, we moved across town to a new house with our daughter Samantha. Our oldest daughter Janae lived there until moving out this summer. After prayerful consideration, we decided it was time to sell that house. Praise God that it sold in less than a week in a bidding war. Our very experienced realtor was shocked because she had never seen so many people come through an open house. We were able to share with her that was due to so many people praying that day. The sale of that house helps us afford to stay in this very expensive area and invest for retirement. We are thankful for God’s provision. When God called us to California, our biggest concern was the high cost of housing in this area. God has cared for our needs above all that we could ask or think. To God alone be the Glory. We held our last baptism and family meal there last Sunday!
Please Note: We no longer receive mail at 1220 Appalosa way!!!!

Praise God that our Egyptian Muslim friend Nour has made a clear profession of faith. Nour has expressed an interest in being baptized but not yet ready to take that major step. Pray for us as we continue to disciple him.

Prayer Requests:
• Finances: Our smaller crowd has significantly reduced our income and the ability of the church to support us financially
• Salvation: Marzi and Dino
• Deaf Community: Expanded outreach to the Deaf
• Visitors
